Praise

We first learned about Ditto! Design! through their website work with the Roundout Valley Business Association. When we decided to update our website, we invited Rick Whelan and his team in for a presentation, along with other web design firms. Rick, Phillippa and Fred were the top contenders, and by far surpassed the other designers in understanding what we were looking for in a new web design and branding package.

Prior to engaging Ditto! Design!, our website was antiquated and did not reflect the current image of our hospital and how it had changed over the past few years. Now, our website accurately reflects the quality, compassionate and innovative care that had become part of our “brand,” without us ever before having labeled it as such!

I was impressed by the process that Ditto! Design! used to learn about the hospital. They interviewed many of our staff members, at all levels in the organization, to get a better understanding of who we were and what we needed to portray in our marketing and web design. After the website was designed, we engaged them to create our new “brand.” In other words, they took what we all knew the hospital was about, and transformed it into marketing material, print ads, and a new logo that let us show others how far we had come in a few short years.

I would highly recommend Ditto! Design! for a personal, effective rebranding of your business!

Working with Ditto! Design! on my rebrand/new identity/website gave me a fresh perspective and insights into how I present my company to the world. Rick Whelan totally captured my voice and created a design that I’m proud to promote.

Rick is the perfect partner. If he says he can do it, he can. If he says he will, he will. Totally reliable. But more than his skills and integrity, Rick possesses a world of experience and wisdom. He’s the kind of partner that makes you not only better and more successful in business—but in life as well. If you ever get the chance to work with Rick, do it.

Rick Whelan and his team at Ditto Design have worked closely with us on two major branding efforts (and one minor one) and in each case took the projects to heart, compelled us to think and communicate our plans so that, while the production was Ditto’s careful work and elegant enterprise, the voice and vision were ours. I always admire (and hire) professionals who can teach me what they are doing, so I understand and appreciate the choices being made on my behalf. Rick and Ditto first lead us into social media and showed us how to achieve what we said we wanted to do. He has been a sounding board and a resource even when he was off the clock and delivers value. One of our icons (a Celtic bard’s Harp) he designed was the best bargain I ever struck. I heartily recommend him for your next image or branding project.

Rick is a creative designer with professional roots that reach deep into the top echelons of his industry. This gives his work a substance that is grounded in broad knowledge of graphic design, branding and corporate identity. Rick marries his experience connecting the dots of strategy, creative and media with the hands-on skills required to implement his solutions. We have received numerous compliments on the graphics and web designs he created for us during the past 30 years, including our logo and website now online.
